Established by local award winning RIBA Chartered Architect Steve Terry to make place specific, site and environmentally responsive buildings - producing practical, efficient and beautiful spaces and interiors that are well-crafted, imaginative and delightful to inhabit, throughout providing an embedded focus on low carbon sustainable design. With attention to detail we deliver thoughtful, creative and bespoke design solutions that realise the full potential of each project and site and are particular to the client’s needs and aspirations.

Our approach to every project is through exploration and discussion, working closely with the client to understand their project and budget needs, and together develop a shared vision. We bring experience, ideas and support - examining the distinctive characteristics and details of each project and pushing imaginations and expectations to achieve the extraordinary. Key to our process is on-going conversation, and collaboration with a well-established network of local consultants, contractors, materials and crafts people. Throughout we integrate designing with the process of making - a continual investigation to explore, test and communicate design ideas from concept though to site construction. This bespoke and personalised approach offers appropriate, unique, carefully detailed and deliverable projects, underpinned by a clear cohesive concept and environmental credentials, that responds to and always keeps in sight the client brief and project budget.

We specialise in delivering projects ranging the re-use, refurbishment, retrofit and renovation of existing and listed structures, to barn conversions, bespoke extensions and new buildings. We have a passion for design, natural materials and sustainability, and as an RIBA Chartered Practice you can be assured of our own expectations and commitment in providing a high quality service. We offer full and partial architect and design services from initial concept, planning submissions and building regulation plans, to full project specifications, construction detailing and on-site consultancy support.
